Pedestrian Hit Off of Jefferson Davis Highway
A Woodbridge man has been charged for careless interference with traffic after a car hit him while crossing Jefferson Davis Highway Thursday outside of a designated crossing area.
Police said that Elmer Stephen Hernandez, 19, was crossing the road and walked into the patch of a 2007 Ford F-150. He was flown to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The driver was identified as a 60-year-old man from Saint Benedict, PA.

A Woodbridge man was charged with failure to yield on a left turn after he collided with a Vienna driver in the area of Jefferson Davis Highway and Occoquan Road Thursday morning.
William Ernesto Ayala Pineda, 24, was driving a 2000 Ford Windstar when he tried to make a left turn onto Occoquan Road and hit a 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Ayala Pineda was flown to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries as a precaution, police said.
Serious Crash Sends Woodbridge Man to Hospital
A 58-year-old Woodbridge man was sent to an area hospital Thursday after he was driving his car into a building.
Police said that the man was driving a 2009 Jeep Wrangler when the vehicle accelerated. To avoid hitting other cars, the man swerved, went across to the other lanes of traffic before hitting trees and 2901 Fox Lair Drive in Dumfries before overturning.
The driver was the sole occupant of the vehicle and sustained minor injuries. No charges were filed in the crash.
Reports of Shots Fired
In two separate reports, Woodbridge residents reported to police for calls of shots fired in which no suspects were seen and no injuries were reported.
In the first report, police responded to K2 Bar at 14633 Jefferson Davis Highway on Thursday at 1:30 a.m. where witnesses said they heard shots being fired in the parking lot.
Police reported to the 13100 block of Queensdale Drive Friday at 2:48 a.m. where several homeowners reported that there were shots heard.
Woodbridge School Bus Driver Involved in Crash
A Dodge Caravan hit the back of a Prince William County School bus that was waiting at a red light on Thursday night in Dumfries.
The driver of the Caravan was flown to an area hospital while an adult passenger and child in the bus were transported to an area hospital. All injuries were reported as non-life threatening.
Police have charged the driver of the Dodge Caravan with reckless driving. The driver, Avorey Deloris Spencer-Horsley, 57, is from Manassas and has no available court date.
The passenger and student of the bus were identified as 49-year-old and 15-year-old females from Manassas. The bus driver was identified as a 58-year-old Woodbridge man.
Teenagers Arrested in Burglary
Three Woodbridge teenagers were arrested and charged with unlawful entry and destruction of property Wednesday after they were caught in the 1400 block of Ranger Loop.
Witnesses told police that they had seen the three boys enter a vacant apartment; police responded and said that entry appeared to have been made through a side window that was broken out. Two 17-year-olds and one 16-year-old, all Woodbridge male residents were arrested and released to parents.
