Police Identify Burnt Corpse from Dumpster
In March a woman was found dead and burnt in a Woodbridge-area dumpster. Now, police are looking for the public's help.

Police have confirmed the identity of the burned corpse found in a dumpster off of Bayside Avenue near Bayvue Apartments in March as Erica Dawn Maynor, 25, known as "Kitty" or "Kit" of no fixed address.
The death is still being classified as a suspicious death as the investigation continues. The victim is known to frequent the Fairfax, Alexandria, Woodbridge and the Washington, D.C. areas. A family member told Patch Maynor was from Huntington, WV. Police are still asking for the public's help in providing more information about the victim. Anyone who may have had contact with the victim or had seen her around the time of her death or anyone with information about the victim, such as a last known address, is urged to contact police.
A family member also told Patch that Maynor's two daughters, 8 and 1, are in "very good hands." The eight-year-old lives in West Virginia and the one-year-old lives in Alexandria, VA with family.
