Route 1 Wawa Closed for Remodel
The popular convenience store closed on June 16 and will reopen by the end of the month.

Wawa lovers can rest assured that Route 1 location in Woodbridge will not be closed permanently.
will be closed temporarily as the store undergoes a remodel inside. Pending a construction timeline, and that everything goes smoothly, Wawa should reopen on Thursday, June 28.
The store will be updated inside with a "fresh and inviting atmosphere," said Wawa director of public relations Lori Bruce. Wawa will have digital signage, new speciality beverages with over 20 flavors of espresso, chai and latte coffee drinks.

The store will be the first in the area to spearhead the new initiatve of in-store baked rolls, said Bruce. Wawa closed on June 16 for the remodeling process.
Wawa lovers can prepare for a lot of exciting changes, Bruce said.
