Sexual Assaults In Woodbridge Area Lead To Charges: Police
A 70-year-old man was charged with the sexual assaults of a victim who was under 15 at the time.
WOODBRIDGE, VA — A 70-year-old man has been charged in a sexual assault investigation in the Woodbridge area.
Detectives obtained arrest warrants charging Arturo A. Reyes, 70, of Triangle, with two counts of attempted rape, one count of aggravated sexual battery and one count of indecent liberties.
Police say the victim, who was under 15, was assaulted by a person she knew between November 2018 and November 2019. The sexual assaults happened on multiple occasions. The victim recently reported the assaults to police.

Reyes turned himself in on Friday. He is being held without bond, and a court date is pending.

Felony Child Neglect: On September 3 at 2:58AM, officers were in the 1900 block of Daniel Stuart Sq. in Woodbridge (22191) when a suspicious vehicle was observed. The investigation revealed occupants of the vehicle, identified as the two accused, were in possession of suspected illegal drugs while caring for a 2-year-old boy. The child was transported to an area hospital as a precaution and later released to the custody of known parties. Following the investigation, both accused, identified as Jayson FAOIRES and Richard Walker BROWN, were arrested.

Malicious Wounding: On September 2 at 9:01PM, officers responded to the Rolling Brook Apartments located in the 12700 block of Ripple Creek Ct. in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate an assault. The investigation revealed the victim, a 29-year-old man, was approached by an unknown man, later identified as the accused, as he sat inside his vehicle. A verbal altercation ensued which escalated when the accused pulled the victim from the vehicle and struck him multiple times. The parties eventually separated, and the police were contacted. Minor injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Herbert Felton Mul-Key, was arrested.

Carjacking: On September 1 at 7:13AM, officers responded to the 17100 block of Dumfries Rd. in Dumfries (22025) to investigate a robbery. The investigation revealed the victim, a 21-year-old man, was approached by an unknown man, later identified as the accused, after parking his truck in the parking lot. During the encounter, the accused demanded the victim’s keys before implying he had a weapon. The accused then took the keys and left the area in the victim’s truck. While investigating the incident, officers located the accused and the vehicle at his residence on Kerrydale Rd where he was eventually detained without incident. No injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Steven Josue Zavala Euceda, was arrested.

Malicious Wounding: On August 30, officers concluded an investigation into an assault that was reported to have occurred in the parking lot of Jiffy Lube Live located at 7800 Cellar Door Dr. in Bristow (20136) on the evening of August 21 during a concert. The investigation revealed the victim, a 17-year-old male juvenile, was on a chartered entertainment bus when he was struck multiple times by an acquaintance, identified as the accused. The parties separated and the victim was treated at an area hospital for non-life threatening injuries. Following the investigation, officers obtained detention orders for the accused, identified as a 17-year-old male juvenile, who was taken into custody in Leesburg on August 30.

Shooting into a Residential Dwelling: On August 30 at 8:21PM, officers responded to investigate a destruction of property that was reported to have occurred at the Friendship Place Apartments located in the 14400 block of Gemstone Dr. in Woodbridge (22191) earlier that day. The investigation revealed sometime between 7:30AM and 6:30PM, a round was fired that struck the walls of two separate apartments. No injuries or additional property damage were reported.
