Shooting Injures Man At Woodbridge Condo Complex: Police
Prince William County Police believe the shooting at a condo complex early Friday was related to an altercation in a home.
WOODBRIDGE, VA — A man was shot at a Woodbridge condominium complex early Friday, according to Prince William County Police.
The shooting happened around 1:39 a.m. Friday at the Summerhouse II Condos in the 1000 block of Gardenview Loop in Woodbridge. In the parking lot, officers found the 18-year-old man with a lower body gunshot wound. The man was taken to the hospital, and injuries were deemed non-life-threatening.
The man was not cooperative with police about what led to the shooting. Police believe an altercation happened in a nearby residence, where a shell casing and marijuana were located. The shooting is not believed to be random.

Rape Investigation [Previously Released] – On October 17, 2024, detectives obtained charges in an ongoing investigation regarding a sexual assault that was reported to have occurred at a residence located in the Woodbridge (22191) area of Prince William County in 2023. The investigation revealed the adult female victim was sexually assaulted by an acquaintance, identified as the accused. While investigating the incident, detectives learned the accused had held the victim against her will in an altercation in 2022. The victim eventually reported the incidents prompting the police investigation. Following the investigation, detectives obtained arrest warrants for the accused, identified as Kelvin Johnson Alvarado-Aguilar. Attempts to locate the accused have been unsuccessful.
Shooting into a Residential Dwelling: On November 14 at 8:54PM, officers responded to the Elevations One Apartments located in the 14300 block of Bellona Rd in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a shots fired call. The investigation revealed several shots were fired in the area resulting in two apartments being struck. No injuries or other property damage were reported. Officers located multiple shell casings.
Commercial Burglary: On November 15 at 5:01PM, officers responded to the UniqueSoles located at 2894 Gaber Way in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a burglary. The investigation revealed the front glass door to the business had recently been broken out. Surveillance video showed four men were involved in the burglary, possibly leaving the area in a maroon sedan with Maryland license plates. Various clothing items and shoes were reported missing.
Attempted Residential Burglary: On November 13 at 3:23PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 14400 block of Filarete St in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate an attempted burglary. The investigation revealed forced entry was attempted into the residence through the front door which was found damaged. The homeowner was present at the time of the incident. No entry was made into the home and no property was reported missing. A police K-9 searched the area for the suspect(s) who were not located.
Strong-Arm Robbery: On November 13 at 3:30PM, officers responded to the area of Richmond Hwy and American Eagle Blvd in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a robbery. The investigation revealed the victim, a 15-year-old male juvenile, was approached by a group of other juvenile acquaintances as he walked in the above area. During the encounter, the group assaulted the victim and took his ski mask while displaying knives. The group dispersed and the victim flagged down a nearby officer to report the altercation. No injuries were reported. Following the investigation, officers identified and obtained charges against three of the involved juveniles.
