Swim Team: Lancers Beat Breakers in Season Opener

From Lake Ridge Lancers coach Kristen Misencik: 

The Lake Ridge Lancers kicked off the 2012 summer swim season with an exciting win against their neighborhood rival, The Old Bridge Breakers.  The final score was 2,886-2,252. 

Congratulations to Cameron Young for setting a new Lancer team record in the 50 backstroke (29.78), achieving Prince William A (PWA) times in all three of his individual events, and earning five out of five first place finishes!

Joe Joe Mazzoccoli (10) and Melia Ross (9) also had an impressive meet and attained five out of five first place ribbons. Josh DeLeoz (12), Phil Mazzoccoli (13), Eric McDonald (17), and Dallin Rackham (14) earned four out of five first place finishes.

Kudos to the following swimmers for achieving three PWA times in their individual events: Josh DeLeoz (12), Lauren Donohoe (18), Courtney Laird (15), Joe Joe Mazzoccoli (10), Eric McDonald (17), Lindsay McDonald (15), Mitchell Nicolai (8), Dallin Rackham (14), Michael Schaefer (10), Adam Shepard (8), Corey Shepard (12), Elisabeth Vogel (14), Aaron Waldman (14), Cameron Young (16), and Tristan Zambrano (12).
