Teen Robbed After Leaving School Bus In Woodbridge: Police

Prince William County Police are investigating the robbery of a 14-year-old dropped off by a school bus and other incidents.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — A teen was robbed after getting off a school bus in Woodbridge Tuesday, according to Prince William County Police.

The robbery happened around 3:33 p.m. Tuesday in the area of Matthews and Burns Drive in Woodbridge. Police say a 14-year-old boy had gotten off the school bus and was approached by four unknown people. The suspects pushed the teen to the ground and assaulted him before taking his shoes. They attempted to take his hooded sweatshirt before the altercation ended.

The teen reported minor injuries.

There was no immediate information on the suspects.

Brandishing of a Firearm | Road Rage Related: On August 23 at 7:21PM, officers responded to investigate a brandishing that was reported to have occurred in the area of Gordon Blvd. near Devils Reach Rd. in Woodbridge (22192) earlier that evening. The investigation revealed the victim, a 20-year-old man, was driving on Gordon Blvd. when he was involved in a road rage incident with the driver of a pickup truck. During the incident, the suspect brandished a firearm towards the victim. The victim left the area and contacted police. No shots were fired, and no injuries were reported. The suspect was described as a white man, between 3-40 years old with brown hair and a full beard and mustache.

Attempted Aggravated Malicious Wounding: On August 24 at 3:46AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 5100 block of Yawl Ct. in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a shots fired call which struck the home. A short time later, officers were informed of a second shots fired call in the 6100 block of Lost Colony Dr. involving another residence struck by gunfire. During the investigation, officers identified a suspect known to residents in both homes and who was believed to be involved in both incidents. Officers obtained arrest warrants for the accused and began seeking his whereabouts. Later that evening, officers responded to a third residential shooting in the 5600 block of Minnie Ct. also involving the accused. Officers eventually located the accused in the area of Roundtree Dr. where he was detained without incident. No injuries or additional property damage were reported at any of the incident locations. Multiple shell casings were recovered. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Caden Sebastian Miller, was arrested. Detectives also executed a search warrant at the residence of the accused where evidence was recovered.

occupied dwelling, 3 counts of use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, 2 counts of
shooting from a vehicle, and 3 counts of destruction of property

Brandishing of Gun: On August 26 at 8:03PM, officers responded to the 14900 block of Alaska Rd. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a brandishing. The investigation revealed the victim, a 33 year-old man, was walking in the above area when he was involved in a verbal altercation with a group of men. During the encounter, three of the men began to approach the victim, before a fourth man brandished a firearm. When the victim contacted the police, the suspects left the area in a silver Honda sedan. The suspect with the firearm was described as a black male with a thin build and brown curly hair.
