Three Arrested with Drugs in Traffic Stop

Police stopped a car for a traffic stop and found marijuana in the car

Two Dumfries residents and a Woodbridge man were arrested Tuesday after police allegedly found drugs in their vehicle. 

Police reports said that an officer stopped a vehicle in the area of Black Forest Drive and Prince William Parkway at 2:04 a.m. The driver, Lawrence Thomas Daniels of Dumfries, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated. Police said they located drugs in an inventory search of the car.

Chrystal Sheila-Nann Nelson, of Dumfries, and Kevin Devon Kelly, of Woodbridge, were in the vehicle and both were charged with two counts each of possession of marijuana, possession of Schedule I or II drugs. Daniels also faces these charges in addition to driving while intoxicated.
