Townhouse Fire Quickly Doused In Woodbridge

WOODBRIDGE, VA—Two people were displaced by a townhouse kitchen fire Sunday afternoon at 1932 Pohick Creek Court, according to the Occoquan-Woodbridge-Lorton Volunteer Fire Department. A family dog was killed.

Shortly before 2:30 p.m., police went to the home for a reported fire. They found the homeowner trying to fight a kitchen fire with a garden hose. Crews took over and quickly extinguished the blaze. No injuries were reported.
