Two People Maced Amid Social Media Spat In Woodbridge: Police

WOODBRIDGE, VA—Authorities are looking for an unknown woman who assaulted two people Feb. 8 at a home in the 7000 block of Chadds Landing Way following an ongoing social media spat, according to Prince William County Police.

Around 7:30 p.m. last Friday, police went to the aforementioned address for a reported assault. A 20-year-old woman said she and the suspect—an unknown female acquaintance—had been involved in an ongoing dispute on social media. The suspect went to the woman's home, and "a physical altercation ensued."

That's when the suspect sprayed the woman and a 22-year-old man with mace. All parties involved eventually separated, and the suspect fled the residence. Minor injuries were reported. Police are still trying to identify and locate the suspect. Anyone with information is urged to call police at 703-792-6500.
