VDOT: Lane Closures Scheduled Starting Tuesday

Virginia Department of Transportation will close lanes along Interstates 95 and 395 as well as area roads starting Tuesday this week.

Nighttime work: Closures occur between 9:30 p.m. and 5 a.m. unless otherwise noted.

• I-95/395 HOV lanes from Exit 4, Seminary Road (Route 420) to Exit 158, Prince William Parkway (Route 3000) - Single lane closed Wednesday - Friday nights from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. for water-level readings and manhole inspections. 
• I-395 north and south between Exit 169, Franconia/Old Keene Mill Road (Route 644) and Exit 4, Seminary Road (Route 420) - Single lane closed Tuesday - Friday nights for water level readings. 
• I-95 north from Exit 152, Dumfries Road to Exit 169, Franconia/Old Keene Mill Road (Route 644)- Single lane closed Tuesday - Friday nights for water level readings. 
• I-95 south from Exit 169, Franconia/Old Keene Mill Road (Route 644) to Exit 150, Joplin Road (Route 619) - Single lane closed Tuesday - Friday nights for water level readings.

• I-95 north from Exit 143, Garrisonville Road (Route 610) to Exit 169, Franconia/Old Keene Mill Road (Route 644) - Single lane closure Tuesday from noon to 3:30 p.m., Wednesday and Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Friday 9 a.m. to noon for water level readings and test bores.
• I-95 south from Exit 169, Franconia/Old Keene Mill Road (Route 644) to Exit 150, Joplin Road (Route 619) - Single lane closure Tuesday from noon to 3:30 p.m., Wednesday and Thursday 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Friday 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. for water level readings and test bores.
• I-95 HOV from Dumfries Road (Route 234) to Exit 170, I-495 - Single lane closed Tuesday from noon to 3:30 p.m., Wednesday and Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Friday 9 a.m. to noon for water level readings.
• I-395 north and south between Exit 169, Franconia/Old Keene Mill Road (Route 644) and Exit 4, Seminary Road (Route 420) - Single lane closure Tuesday from noon to 3:30 p.m., Wednesday and Thursday from 9:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. and Friday 9 a.m. to noon for water level readings and test bores.
• Stevenson Avenue at Cottingham Place - Ridge lane closed Tuesday from noon to 2 p.m., Wednesday and Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Friday 9 a.m. to noon for test bores.
• Joplin Road (Route 619) at I-95 - Left lane closed Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for test bores.
