Like all candidates that we’ve endorsed in the 2011 election cycle, we are confident that Dr. Lateef will build on the best of Virginia’s democratic traditions to help create a progressive future for our state. We will look to Dr. Lateef to be a champion of Prince Williams’ immigrant and African American communities, women, youth, LGBTQ communities, and working families. Dr. Lateef is in touch with the reality of the changing demographics of Northern Virginia, and Prince William in particular, and he aspires to lead the county towards an era of inclusiveness and economic security."
