Woman Assaults Cop, Spits On Medic In Woodbridge: Police
A woman was arrested after assaulting an officer and later spitting on a medic at a home in Woodbridge, say Prince William County Police.

WOODBRIDGE, VA—A woman was arrested Saturday night after assaulting an officer and later spitting on a medic at a home in the 15300 block of Tina Lane, according to Prince William County Police. Ashley Nicole Faircloth, 25, of the 200 block of Sylvan Moore Lane in Woodbridge, was charged with assault and battery on a law enforcement officer, assault on a medical services personnel, possession of marijuana, intoxicated in public and obstruction of justice.
Shortly before 10 p.m., police responded to the scene for a reported disorderly woman, after which they determined she was intoxicated and arrested her. When officers tried to put Faircloth in the back of a police cruiser, she resisted and assaulted an officer on the leg. She was pepper sprayed and further restrained. When rescue personnel arrived to treat her as a precaution, she spit on one of the medics.
