Woman Slugged, Held Captive In Woodbridge: Police
A man punched a woman in the face, broke her phone to stop her from calling for help and then held her down on a bed in Woodbridge: Police.

WOODBRIDGE, VA—A man punched a woman in the face, broke her phone to prevent her from calling for help and then held her down on a bed to prevent her from fleeing last Tuesday at a home in the 12300 block of Pond Run Drive, according to Prince William County Police.
Darian Jerrell Cobb, 22, of the aforementioned address, was charged with one count of abduction, one count of domestic assault and battery, once count of preventing the summoning of law enforcement and two counts of destruction of property.
Shortly after 11 p.m., police went to the scene for a reported domestic assault. The 21-year-old woman said she and Cobb were in an argument that escalated, after which he attacked her. They eventually separated and police were contacted. Minor injuries were reported.
