Woodbridge Cupcake Shop in Local Radio Competition

Update: Aug. 11, 11:05 a.m.: From the Confections Facebook page: " The radio station has asked Confections to bring in cupcakes in for the DJ's and staff to taste along with other cupcake companies that were in the contest. They will then vote on who they think has the best cupcake. Then on 9/13 Kane from the Kane Show will be featuring all the cupcakes and the companies on News Channel 4!"

Woodbridge's own Confections Cupcakery has been featured as one of 23 Washington, D.C.-area cupcakeries up for "Best Cupcake" in radio station HOT 99.5's "Hottys" contest.

In the Hottys contest, site readers can vote for the "hottest people, places, and things in Washington, D.C.," according to HOT 99.5's website.

Confections is currently in second place, behind McLean, VA's Fluffy Thoughts.
