Woodbridge Hit-And-Run Kills Pedestrian Unconscious
Police believe a hit-and-run crash led to the death of a pedestrian found in the road in Woodbridge.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — A pedestrian was found unconscious and later died after a hit-and-run in Woodbridge Sunday, according to Prince William County Police.
Officers had responded to an unconscious man in the road around 1:22 a.m. Sunday to the Prince William Parkway and Lynn Street intersection.
Police believe the 51-year-old man was walking in the road when an unknown vehicle struck him. A passerby had noticed the man and contacted 911 while providing aid.

The pedestrian was taken to the hospital and later died of his injuries. He was identified as Salvador Ernesto Torres, 51, of Woodbridge. An autopsy revealed the injuries were likely from being struck by a vehicle.
