WOODBRIDGE, VA — Investigators have determined the likely cause of death for a Woodbridge man found unconscious on the northbound ramp from Interstate 95 to Dale Boulevard.
Prince William County police officers found Tarone Lamont Bland, 27, after 1 a.m. Saturday after a driver saw him lying in the roadway and called police. Bland was taken to an area hospital where he later died, Officer Adam Beard, a Prince William County police spokesman, told the Prince William Times.
An autopsy determined the victim's injuries were self-inflicted. Police now do not believe the man was struck by a vehicle.
