Woodbridge Nonprofit Competing for $30K
First Home Alliance needs votes starting on June 14 to win money.

On June 14, Woodbridge-based nonprofit The First Home Alliance will be competing for $30,000.
is a housing counseling agency founded in 2002 that promotes financial literacy and economic self-sufficiency.
In an online fundraising competition by Razoo.com, called "Twive and Receive," the nonprofit will go head-to-head with 200 cities.

"The 24-hour contest will launch on June 14 at midnight Pacific Time (3 a.m. ET), at which point charities will compete to see who can raise the most on TwiveAndReceive.org in one day," reads a press release from the competition. "Razoo will award the top three participating charities that raise the most $15,000, $10,000 and $5,000 to first, second and third place respectively."
