Best Places To Teach In Washington In 2023
Niche judged Washington school districts on overall performance, teacher satisfaction, pay and student-teacher ratios.
WASHINGTON — Pay for schoolteachers can vary widely in Washington, but many of the state's smaller districts are home to some of its happiest teachers, according to new rankings from educational analytics site Niche. Compensation can be pretty competitive, too.
While the Eastside led the pack in this year's district and school-level placements, smaller districts often performed best in Niche's 2023 Best Places to Teach in Washington rankings. Each district's score took into account overall grades, teacher satisfaction, student-teacher ratios and pay.
