Daycare Waxed Toddler's Eyebrows, Mom Says
"These WOMEN decided to WAX MY DAUGHTERS uni brow," the Washington mother wrote on Facebook.

PASCO, WA - A mother from the Tri-Cities area believes that caretakers at her daughter's daycare center waxed the toddler's "unibrow" without permission. The daycare, which is at Columbia Basin College, has called the allegation "unsubstantiated," according to reports.
The mother, Alyssa Salgado, said her daughter had a red mark between her eyebrows after she came home last Friday. Salgado believes the daycare workers "decided to wax my daughter's unibrow."
The state Department of Early Learning is investigating the complaint, according to the Seattle Times.

The Tri-City Herald reported the 1-year-old girl was dropped off at daycare with a unibrow.
When Alyssa Salgado dropped the toddler off, the little girl had a unibrow. When she and her daughter arrived home, all that remained above her nose was a red patch.
Her daughter, who is not yet 2 years old, called it an “owie,” said her mom. Salgado thinks the child’s eyebrows were waxed and worries that it would have been painful.
Columbia Basin College issued a statement saying it would support the state's investigation. The results are due in about a month, the Times reported.

Columbia Basin College (CBC) was made aware that the Boys and Girls Club of Benton and Franklin counties is investigating a complaint regarding its staff at its childcare center operated for the Pasco School District on the campus of CBC. In addition, the Washington State Department of Early Learning, the licensing agency for childcare centers, will be doing its own investigation beginning Monday at the childcare center.
The Boys and Girls Club, Pasco School District, and Columbia Basin College take these allegations seriously and will work together to support the investigation process.
