Washington Named 'Best State For Jobs' In 2022
WalletHub analyzed nearly three dozen data points in all 50 states and named Washington as the best one to find a job in this year.

SEATTLE — Americans looking for work might want to take a look at the Evergreen State, according to a new report from WalletHub.
The personal finance website this week named Washington the best state for jobs, landing in the top 10 across several metrics, including average starting salaries (2nd), job opportunities (5th), and median incomes (8th).
In developing the rankings, WalletHub evaluated the job market and economic environment in each state using 35 weighted metrics on a 100-point scale. Narrowly edging out Vermont, Washington ranked first overall with a total score of 69.65 as the lone West Coast representative in the top 10.
