Washington State Parks Free This Friday

Skip the Black Friday shopping and hit the trails instead.

WASHINGTON -- Looking for a bit of fresh air this Friday? Or maybe you just want to skip the Black Friday shopping and unwind. Lucky for you, all Washington State Parks will be free to enter the day after Thanksgiving.

Washington State Parks announced that on Autumn Day, or this Friday, visitors looking to check out any of the more than 100 state parks will not have to pay an admission fee. So whether you want to go to Lyons Ferry or the Squak Mountain, you won't have to worry about spending a dime.
