Bellevue Diversity Program Coordinator Kevin Henry Joins Leadership Eastside Board

Kevin Henry, Communications Coordinator and Cultural Event and Program Planner for the City of Bellevue, has joined Leadership Eastside’s Board of Directors. Leadership Eastside informs, equips and connects our community’s greatest assets – its leaders – to meet our community’s greatest needs.  Henry is also a member of the Leadership Eastside (LE) class of 2014.

He joins a distinguished group of Eastside leaders: Jeni Craswell, Imagine housing; Monty Kilcup, GLY Construction; Janet Ray, AAA Washington;  Lauren Thomas, Hopelink;  Matt Bott, Issaquah Chamber of Commerce; Kevin Espirito, Microsoft Community Affairs; Earl Bell, Island Crest Consulting; Amy Hedin, Human Point; John Hotta, Microsoft Alumni Foundation; Laurie Johnson, Symetra; Holly Koelling, KCLS; Dan Leahy, LIOS Graduate College of Saybrook University; Stuart Linscott, Umpqua Bank; Dana McRay, UW Board Fellow; Louis Mendoza, United Way; Jane Mounsey, GLY Construction; Mike Nesteroff, Lane Powell PC; Lourdes Salazar, City of Bellevue; Keri Stout, Community Leader; and Deana Wilson, Boeing.

“Even before Advance Bellevue helped launch LE, Kevin has been a valuable resource to leaders in our community,” said James Whitfield, president of Leadership Eastside. “We look forward to the ways in which he helps us make an even more positive impact on the people who live in East King County.”

Henry is highly supportive of LE’s mission and role in the community, and is looking forward to engaging as a member of the organization’s leadership group.  "I am honored to have been asked to be on the board of Leadership Eastside,” said Henry. “I am looking forward to working with such a creative and proactive group and working together to help the organization reach its goals."
