• Direct Source Seafood LLC is Recalling Frozen Raw Shrimp Because Product May Have Become Contaminated with Cesium-137 (Cs-137) (fda.gov) — A Bellevue-based seafood company is recalling about 83,800 bags of frozen raw shrimp over concerns they may have been exposed to the radioactive substance cesium-137 during processing in Indonesia. No illnesses have been reported, but residents who bought Market 32 or Waterfront Bistro frozen shrimp should not eat it and can return it for a refund or call the listed Bellevue phone line with questions.
• Pullman High School Takes The Lead In Eastern Washington With A Solid Statewide Ranking (mega993online.com) — Several Bellevue high schools, including International, Newport, Interlake, and Bellevue High, rank among the top schools in Washington in the latest U.S. News 2025 list. The rankings weigh college readiness, state test performance, underserved student outcomes, and graduation rates, while also spotlighting Pullman High as the top school east of the Cascades.
