Girls Scouts Seeks Volunteers for Highland Community Center Event

Girl Scouts has partnered with the Dove Movement for Self Esteem to run six events throughout Western Washington, and we need volunteers to help with these one-time events! All events are on Saturday, October 22^nd from 1-5pm. Our locations include:

Des Moines Activity Center in Des Moines, WA

Brier Triton Student Center at Edmonds Community College

Syre Student Center at Whatcom Community College

Girl Scout Peninsula Program Center in Bremerton, WA

DuPont Girl Scout Center in DuPont, WA

Who We Need:

Dance Instructors-  If you teach dance/love dance/ know a dance we’d love to have you teach girls a new way to move their bodies to help them feel more confident!

Photographers- We need pictures, lots of pictures, of our events! If you love photography then we’d love to have you here.

Paper People/Registration- These volunteers will help us run our sign in sheet booths and help the girls and their parents register for Girl Scouts at the event.

Program People- These volunteers will help us run our program booths at the events (more details will be provided if you’re interested).

Set-Up/Tear-Down- Help us move chairs, tables, decorate, and generally get the place ready for the girls!

Virtual Map/Comments- Help the girls log-in to the Dove Virtual Map and leave comments about their experience at the events.
