Bellevue School District: Funding Our Schools: February 8, 2022 Levies

There’s a gap between what the state funds school districts, and what we need to support our students, that’s why BSD will ask voters to consider renewing two levies in the February 8, 2022 election.  

For example, the state only funds three full-time nurses for our district. Through levy funding, we employ 23 nurses to keep our students healthy and safe. Funding from the EP&O levy also covers costs associated with mental health counselors and supports in our schools as well as student opportunities including orchestra, band, elementary art, and athletics. The EP&O levy helps us ensure the wellbeing of the students in our care.
