Steampunk, also known as Victorian science fiction is becoming extremely popular. Seattle is fortunate enough to have the premiere steampunk event happening right here.
For the third year in a row, Steamcon will be bringing musicians, performers, authors and artists from all over the globe to educate and entertain. K.W. Jeter, the man who coined the term "steampunk" will be the author guest of honor.
This year's theme of "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea" is a return to the roots of Victorian science fiction. The eye candy alone will be worth attending for.
