During the last week, Bellevue Patch has welcomed Congressman Adam Smith and five-year NFL veteran Eddie Williams as its newest bloggers.
In his first blog, Smith writes an open invite to an annual event he hosts, called 9th District Day. The event aims to bring together Washington state constituents, policy experts, and media leaders in Washington D.C.

Williams descibes himself as a Christian, a husband and a father, and public speaker, who is pursuing his Masters of Divinity at Re:train in Seattle. In his first post, 3 Reasons it's tough to be a Christian in the NFL, Williams answers the question, "what’s it like being a Christian in the NFL?"
