Downed Power Line Blocks West Tapps Highway In Bonney Lake
A fallen tree is blocking the road from Bonney Lake Boulevard to 67th Street E. It's unknown when it will be reopened.
BONNEY LAKE, WA — A downed power line blocked off a portion of West Tapps Highway E Monday morning.
Just before 9:30 a.m., Bonney Lake police reported that West Tapps ahd been closed from Bonney Lake Blvd. to 67th St. E.

Police say they don't know when the road will reopen, but that they expect the closure should last well into the evening.
Status update 11:10 a.m. - The Puget Sound Energy crew anticipates that repairs will go into the evening as there is considerable damage to the system. West Tapps will remain closed while crews are working.

Meanwhile, power outages continue to be an issue for the region, as the windstorm has knocked down several other lines through Puget Sound. As of 10 a.m. Monday, Puget Sound Energy says it is responding to 338 known outages, which are cutting off power for more than 20,000 customers.
