Man Shot Near Muckleshoot Casino
The 48-year-old victim was struck in the cheek, and taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle for treatment.

AUBURN, WA — One man has been hospitalized after a shooting late Wednesday night near the Muckleshoot Casino in Auburn, police said.
According to a post from the Auburn Police Department, officers were dispatched to the intersection of Dogwood and Auburn Way S just before 11 p.m. Wednesday.
When they arrived, police say they found a 48-year-old victim who shot in the cheek. He was taken to Harborview Medical Center for emergency treatment, but is expected to survive.

While medics handled the victim, officers called in a K9 team to search the surrounding area for the shooter. With their help, police say they tracked the suspect to a nearby home, where they found and arrested a 33-year-old suspect. He was placed into custody just before midnight, the police department said.
Officers say they do not know what happened leading up to the shooting, but will continue to investigate.
