Sumner, Bonney Lake School Calendar 2019-20: First Day And More

SUMNER-BONNEY LAKE SCHOOL DISTRICT, WA — The first day of school for the Sumner-Bonney Lake School District is Sept. 3 for grades 1-12 and Sept. 6 for kindergartners — and whether you and the kids are looking forward to the new school year or are dreading the end of summer, you'll want to mark the date on your calendar ASAP.

S-BLSD has released its 2019-2020 calendar for public schools. The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

Here is the full list of dates to know for this school year:

• Sept. 3: First day of school for grades 1-12
• Sept. 6: First day for kindergartners

• Oct. 11: No school
• Oct. 14: No School
• Oct. 18: BLHS Homecoming

November

• Nov. 5: High school conferences
• Nov. 11: No School (Veterans Day)
• Nov. 27-29: No School - Thanksgiving Break

December

• Dec. 23-31: No School - Winter Break

January

• Jan. 1-3: No School - Winter Break
• Jan. 20: No School (Martin Luther King Jr. Day)
• Jan. 31: No Secondary School

February

• Feb. 17 and 18: No School - President's Day

March

• March 13: No Elementary School
• March 26: Elementary conferences
• March 27: No School (Emergency Weather Make-Up Day if needed)

April

• April 6-10: No School - Spring Break
• April 13: No School (Emergency Weather Make-Up Day if needed)

May

• May 25: No School - Memorial Day

June

• June 10: BLHS Graduation
• June 12: SHS Graduation
• June 17: Last Day of School - All Grades
• June 18: No School (Emergency Weather Make-Up Day if needed)
