School has been canceled due to widespread power outages.
The Sumner-Bonney Lake School District has canceled school for the day due to a widespread power outage and no internet access.
The district said with high winds in the forecast and fires, it's uncertain when power will be restored.
The district said it will communicate as best as it can but noted there was limited internet access.

The same outage has also pushed the Puyallup School District to cancel their classes as well.
On Monday night, a grass fire off State Route 167 closed the highway Monday night and prompted the evacuation of a nearby warehouse.
