SR 410 Construction May Cause Backups, Delays This Weekend

On Sunday crews will need to cut the 410 to a single, alternating lane between Buckley and Enumclaw, which is likely to cause some trouble.

BONNEY LAKE, WA — Drivers who are planning on taking SR 410 this Sunday will want to plan ahead for some significant traffic back-ups.

According to the Washington State Patrol, the 410 will be cut to one single, alternating lane of traffic between Buckley and Enumclaw from 5 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Sunday. Troopers warn that that's likely to cause some significant back-ups, so drivers headed through the area should give themselves extra time to reach their destination.

During the closure, WSDOT crews will be working on the county canal bridge.

Normally construction projects that cause significant traffic interruptions are scheduled during the night, when there are less drivers on the road, but unfortunately this project requires crews use an Under-Bridge Inspection Truck to clean the underside of the county canal bridge, which has to be done during the day.
