Sumner Asks Residents To Spread The Love For World Gratitude Day

On Tuesday, the city will be collecting food and other critical supplies to help the less fortunate. Here's how to get involved.

SUMNER, WA — Tuesday, September 21st is World Gratitude Day, and the City of Sumner is asking its residents to show some love and gratitude by donating to help their neighbors in need.

Tuesday, the city and non-profit Gratitude 253 will be out at the Spread Love Mural from 3 to 6p.m., collecting donations of food, hygiene products, diapers, school supplies and more — which they say will then go to help local families in Sumner and Bonney Lake.

Tuesday's event will also feature catering from the Sumner Cafe and an appearance by Mauka Hawaiin Shaved Ice.
