Sumner-Bonney Lake Schools Closed Due To Snowy Forecast

The closure includes preschool, childcare, after-school activities and out-of-district transportation.

SUMNER, WA — The Sumner-Bonney Lake School District has cancelled classes Wednesday, citing concerns about snow and low temperatures.

"Deciding to cancel school is a difficult decision that the District takes seriously. As weather and road conditions vary greatly throughout Sumner and Bonney Lake, our priority is safety and our ability to safely transport students to and from school," the district wrote. "After closely and carefully monitoring conditions, we feel this is the best decision for students, families and staff."
