Sumner Sk8 Park Bowl Closed After Bowl Floods
Recent heavy rains have been wreaking havoc for the south sound, and here's just one more problem.

SUMNER, WA — The skater life is forever, but unfortunately it's also going to have to be on hold a little bit: the City of Sumner says its had to shut down the local Sk8 Park after the recent heavy rains caused the bowl to clog and flood.
Unfortunately, our Sk8 Park bowl is doing its own imitation of a pond. Given the needs throughout the city, we're not going to be able to jet this drain line until Monday, so we need to close the park for this weekend. Thank you for your patience. pic.twitter.com/ZY1THQbwwE

According to the city, the park will be closed through the weekend, but will hopefully reopen Monday when crews drain the bowl.
