• Clarkston Council Revisits EMS Funding Amid Union Talks (klewtv.com) — Clarkston city leaders are rethinking how to fund emergency medical services in the 2026 budget as talks with the fire union make progress. With layoffs and staffing on the line, the council may introduce amendments to restore at least temporary EMS funding when it takes a final budget vote on December 22.
   

• Clarkston Man Arrested After Seizure of $40,000 Worth of Cocaine (dailyfly.com) — A Clarkston residence was the site of a major drug bust, where detectives seized about three pounds of cocaine, multiple firearms, and roughly $50,000 in cash after a lengthy investigation. A 35-year-old Clarkston man was arrested and booked into Asotin County Jail on a charge of possession of cocaine with intent to deliver.
   

• TriState Health Begins Residency Program (koze.com) — A new TriState Health residency program will bring young doctors to Clarkston for three years of training, with hopes many will stay in the region long term. Backed by $1 million in federal support, the hospital is asking local residents to donate through today’s Fund Our Future campaign to help sustain the program and strengthen medical care in this rural community.
