A celebration to honor the life of an Edmonds man who died in a car accident Monday on I-90 will be held Saturday at 4 p.m. at Acacia Funeral Home, 14951 Bothell Way NE, Seattle.
According to a news release from the Washington State Patrol, it was about 1:10 p.m. when Tyler Wiitala Young, 26, driving a 1994 Toyota pickup west on I-90, left the road, returned and struck a westbound 2000 Toyota 4Runner driven by Dylan L. Larson, 15, of Gold Bar.
Young, who was not wearing a seat belt, was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, where he was pronounced dead, the release said. The State Patrol said intoxicants were a factor in the crash.
