The Phoenix Theatre will open its fourth show of the season on Friday, Feb. 4 with the tender and bittersweet Irish comedy, Da by Hugh Leonard. The show runs Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, through Feb 27.
Charlie returns to his childhood home in Ireland after his Da’s funeral only to find that his father’s ghost is stubbornly unwilling to leave the house. As the events of Charlie’s youth are replayed we discover the comic, bittersweet relationship that existed between father and son.
Directed by Eric Lewis, Da stars David Bailey, Susan Connors, Renee Gilbert, Michael McFadden, Chad Oswald, Christopher Shine, Melanie Workhoven.
