• Lynnwood plans massive sewage plant rebuild; Edmonds neighbors say they were caught off guard (myedmondsnews.com) — A major, decade-long rebuild of Lynnwood’s wastewater treatment plant—located in an annexed part of Edmonds and serving over 1,000 Edmonds acres—could bring construction impacts, higher sewer costs, and environmental changes for nearby residents. Edmonds neighbors say they felt blindsided by the $330 million project’s scope, while both cities negotiate cost sharing and prepare for environmental review and property demolitions. 
• Reminder: Local artists invited to enter Puget Sound Bird Fest poster art contest (myedmondsnews.com) — Local bird and art lovers should know that the 2026 Puget Sound Bird Fest, set for June 6-7 in Edmonds, is seeking a new poster design now. Puget Sound-area artists 18 and older can submit one original, non-photographic piece by Jan. 31, 2026 for a chance at $500 and prominent festival exposure.
