Friday Snow: Winter Weather Advisory For Region Until 3 a.m.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for the entire region, which indicates that snow levels will fall to 500 feet by the end of the day - although many communities were seeing snow in the morning.

The advisory warns that hills above 200 feet could see up to 3 inches of snow accumulating this afternoon and overnight. The advisory ends at 3 a.m. on Saturday. However, low areas near Puget Sound will only see rain.
