Shred-It and Electronics Recycle Day Saturday in Edmonds

Bring documents for shredding and up to 10 electronics items for recycling Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the First Security Bank branch in Edmonds.

 

Got some documents you don’t need anymore but want to dispose of without risk of identity theft? You can bring them for shredding, and recycle electronics at the same time, during a Shred-It and Electronics Recycle Day Saturday at the Edmonds First Security Bank branch.

You can bring up to 10 boxes and bags of paper for shredding and 10 electronics items for recycling, such as DVD players, fax machines, cable boxes, small servers, MP3 players, VHS players, scanners, stereo and speakers, modems, video game consoles small printers.

The event is one of four in the Puget Sound region coming up, sponsored by First Security Bank. The Edmonds event is from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 11 at the branch at 620 Edmonds Way (425-774-5144).
