Enumclaw Police: Officers Respond to Multiple 'Suspicious Person' Calls
The following information for Friday, May 31 and Monday, June 3, was provided by the Enumclaw Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Friday, May 31
Threat: Around 11:34 a.m., police responded to a report of threats via text messages in the 200 block of Semanski Street S. After investigating, the suspect was arrested for harassment.
Suspicious Person: At 12:47 p.m., police conducted an area check for a suspicious male who was going door to door asking if he could wash windows in the 700 block of Harmony Lane.Â
Suspicious Person: A resident in the 1000 block of Roosevelt Avenue requested extra patrol after a suspicious subject was seen parking nearby and walking to a nearby house. The reporting party suspects drug activity.
Suspicious Person: Around 2:52 p.m., police were dispatched to a report of two suspicious subjects approaching houses in the 600 block of Natalie Place and looking in the windows when no one answered. The solicitors were advised to leave the area.Â
Theft: Around 6:03 p.m., police responded to a vehicle theft in the 1400 block of Blake Street. The car was recovered by Tacoma Police about four hours later. The car had damages to its ignition.
Saturday, June 1
Found Property: Around 1:44 p.m., a syringe was found in the 300 block of Warwick Street.
Suspicious Person: Around 2:20 p.m., police received reports of three subjects going door to door selling roofing services in the 300 block of Schmidt Street. The subjects were warned to cease the activity until a business license was obtained.
OSA Assist: Around 4:05 p.m., police responded to Enumclaw Fire Department for a reported grease fire in the 1200 block of Cedar Drive.
Theft: Around 4:51 p.m., police responded to a theft of medication from vehicle in the 2800 block of Griffin Avenue.
Traffic Hazard: Around 7:23 p.m., police were dispatched near State Route 410 and Warner Avenue regarding a group of ducks in the roadway. Upon arrival, the ducks had moved off the roadway and into the ditch. The birds appeared to be clipped. A wildlife officer was contacted and took possession of the ducks.
Sunday, June 2
Theft: Some garden tools were stolen from a shed in the 100 block of Chinook Avenue.
OSA Assist: Around 2:30 p.m., police assisted King County Sheriff's Office and Enumclaw Fire Department with an injury-involved motor vehicle accident near SE 400th Street and 218th Avenue SE.
Theft: Four yard lights were stolen from a home in the 1700 block of Lafromboise Street.
Suspicious Person: Around 2:44 p.m., police responded to an attempted luring call in the 700 block of Watson Street N. Reporting party said an older male in a light gold or tan van got out of the vehicle and motioned for three juveniles to come over. The youths fled the area. Police were unable to located the van.
Monday, June 3
Theft: An unknown subject(s) stole items from a vehicle that was parked at the post office in the 1700 block of Cole Street.
