Please Welcome Chief Smith, Our Newest Blogger

Do you have an opinion, experience, or passion you'd like to share? We welcome you to blog about it on Patch through our Local Voices section.

This week Enumclaw Patch welcomed Chief Smith as its newest blogger.

One day following last week's terrorist attack at the Bostom Marathon, Chief Smith submitted his first blog post, Boston Bombing, where he reminded the public to be vigilant and report suspicious behaviour.

"Situational awareness, while no panacea, can make the difference between becoming a victim or being a survivor," he wrote. "Every citizen has the responsibility for being aware of what is taking place around them; this is how we can protect our communities, our neighbors, loved ones and ourselves."
