Creators of future Snohomish-to-Everett trail look for opinions (snoho.com) — Everett residents are being asked to weigh in on a proposed 5.5-mile Snohomish River trail that would start at Rotary Park and link Everett to Snohomish and the regional Centennial Trail network. The county is still early in design, juggling wetlands, farms, Harvey Airfield, and neighborhood concerns, and is collecting feedback through an online survey and a citizen advisory committee.

The Olson Bros Band, 9 to 5, Northwest Perspectives, and more (heraldnet.com) — Everett is packed with things to do, from concerts at the Historic Everett Theatre and Angel of the Winds Arena to a holiday performance by Evergreen Community Orchestra at Everett Civic Auditorium. 3. Everett High brews inclusivity and career skills (everettpost.com) — Students at Everett High School are running Harbor Coffee House, an in-school espresso bar that doubles as an inclusive vocational program for both special education and general education students. The class teaches real-world job, social, and marketing skills, has already helped several teens land paid work, and reinvests profits into field trips that build independence and confidence for Everett youth.
   

4. Life in the skies: Everett woman's career was testing military jets (snoho.com) — An Everett resident who spent more than 30 years as an Air Force flight test engineer is now retired here, writing books and even building her own RV-8 airplane. Eileen Bjorkman, who keeps her plane at Harvey Field in Snohomish, shares stories from flying in F-4s to chronicling women’s fight to fly combat and her father’s record-setting homebuilt aircraft.
