Flags Lowered for Trooper Tony Radulescu

The city flags will be flown at half-staff starting Thursday, March 1st to honor Washington State Patrol Trooper Tony Radulescu who was killed in the line of duty.

Governor Chris Gregoire has directed flags at all state agency facilities be lowered to half-staff from dawn until dusk, Thursday, March 1st, 2012, in memory of who was killed in the line of duty early on February 23rd, 2012. 

Flags should remain at half-staff until sunset on Thursday, March 1st or first thing Friday morning, March 2nd, 2012.

Other government entities, citizens and businesses are encouraged to join this recognition. 

The memorial service in honor of Trooper Tony Radulescu's life and service to the citizens of the state of Washington will be held on Thursday, March 1, 2012, at 1 p.m. at the ShoWare Center located at 625 West James Street in Kent.
