Gig Harbor Bakery Named 5th Best Cakes in Western Washington

Local Gig Harbor business Tortes N Tarts places fifth in Best Cakes, in the Wedding category in Evening Magazine’s “ Best of Western Washington” Contest. This is the second time in four years for Tortes N Tarts to place in the top 5, for Best Cakes.

This year's King 5 “Best of Western Washington” featured more than 20,873 businesses. Tortes N Tarts was competing against 91 other contestants in the Best Cakes category, a substantial increase from the 35 contestants in 2009.

Munk has more than 30 years experience and has lived in Gig Harbor for more than 27 years. She enjoys creating custom designed wedding cakes, celebration cakes and European confections for the Gig Harbor and Tacoma area.
