Gig Harbor Midday Rotary’s Student of the Month: Martha Spieker

Gig Harbor’s Midday Rotary Club has named Martha Spieker as its October, 2011 Student of the Month.

The senior at maintains a 3.9 GPA and is a member of and Secretary/Treasurer for her local National Honor Society Chapter.

Spieker is a member on the school’s debate team. She also serves her community as an AIDS Peer Educator, an AIDS walk volunteer and performs various service projects through her church.

Spieker and her parents have been invited to a Rotary-hosted luncheon to recognize her achievement and to present her a Certificate of Achievement.
