Gig Harbor Psychotherapist Heals Grief by Connecting People with Loved Ones in the Afterlife

A grief therapist in Gig Harbor, Rochelle Wright, M.S., is helping people heal after they have lost their loved ones. Wright is a Washington state-licensed, nationally certified psychotherapist with 22 years’ experience working with patients suffering from grief and trauma.

Wright and six other speakers about the afterlife and afterlife connections will hold a workshop to the public in Gig Harbor on July 28-29 at the Red Barn, 2806 96th St. NW.

She and eight other grief therapists using the same procedure are healing grief in as little as one session by helping the client connect with their loved one on the other side. She named the experiences Guided Afterlife Connections. Thus far, 99 percent of the clients who come to her for the afterlife connection communicate with the loved one for whom they are grieving.

A study of the reduction in grief from a Guided Afterlife Connection procedure found that clients’ ratings of the severity of their grief before the sessions averaged 9.91 on a 10-point disturbance scale. After the session, the scores had reduced to an average rating of 1.4. For many, their grief had reduced from 10 or even 10+++++ to 0. That dramatic change is unheard of in psychotherapy in general, and grief therapy in particular.

Wright’s book, Guided Afterlife Connections (Greater Reality Publications, April 2011) explains how she helps this connection unfold. She describes 26 cases of people who have had their lives changed by the connections. A YouTube video contains interviews with Wright and four experiencers: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CPQIksAfaZc.

The procedure uses a psychotherapy method called bilateral stimulation, in which the psychotherapist helps the client stimulate the left and right sides of the brain, alternately. The American Psychological Association, the Veterans Administration, and a variety of other certifying entities as an important, valid psychotherapy procedure for trauma and psychological issues acknowledge the procedure. It has been called the breakthrough therapy method of the twentieth century. Psychotherapists also discovered, by accident, that it opens the portal to the afterlife.

After the procedure brings the clients into a state of openness, they close their eyes. As they sit quietly, they have a mental experience of their deceased loved one, without use of a medium. The psychotherapist does nothing to lead the experience. It unfolds by itself. The reality of the connection has been demonstrated repeatedly when the clients learn things they could not have known, but find out to be true.
