Possible Sediment in Water Lines After System Flush at Narrows Airport

Pierce County Public Works and Utilities released the following statement:

The water system flush has been completed.

It is possible, if not likely, that some sediment has flowed to individual water lines during the system flushing process accomplished earlier Monday morning. Therefore, please let each water tap in your area run for a few moments to purge your location's lines of any sediment. Once your water line runs clear, the system will operate normally thereafter.

This periodic flushing maintains a healthy airport water system. We regret any inconvenience and your cooperation is very greatly appreciated. Thank you!
